If you are somewhat horse shy we will provide you with some challenging hiking through the incredible mountain passes to our camps and beyond. Let our horses and wranglers pack your gear and enjoy travelling without the burden of a pack. Our knowledgable hiking guides will tell you all the local history, identify plant and wildlife species with you as well as navigate the route.

When you arrive in one of our wilderness camps, the cook will have the kettle on and be preparing a home cooked meal for your hearty appetite. This leaves plenty of time to swim, explore, catch a trout in the glacier lake or hike up to some of the most incredible fossils you will ever see. You will also enjoy the commaredre of local story telling around the fire and discuss your route for the next day.

PACK HORSE ASSISTED HIKING TOURS
(Four to Ten Day Tours)
June 15th to October 15th

Come and explore BC.s Famous South Chilcotin Mountains. Let our horses pack the gear for you! All our trips are fully catered. Depending on the length of your trip and your interests, whether it be wildlife viewing, fishing, or to experience the vibrant colours of the wildflowers in the alpine meadows, we can cater a trip to your interest. Accommodation will be in our mountain base camps and for longer excursions we may also stay in some of our spike camp locations. Trips will begin either at our main ranch location or we may transfer you by vehicle to start your journey a little further up the trail. Hiking Tours can be enjoyed by all ages and skill levels. For those friends and family members that still want to participate in the tour but do not want to hike we can mix the tour to accommodate them. COMBO TOURS allow some to ride while others hike. On all our hiking tours we bring one spare saddle horse in case a hiker in your group becomes tired or sore. Your wrangler will ride and a hiking guide will travel on foot with you and also act as your cook.
